Actually, the motto is always “as clean as possible, as gentle as possible”, but how does perfect face cleansing work? Should it foam? What temperature should the water have? Which products suit best? Chiaro Zurich brings light into the dark!
WHY CLEANSING YOUR FACE IS SO IMPORTANT – ESPECIALLY IN THE EVENING.
First of all – most skin problems arise from incorrect or completely omitted cleaning. Clearly – the daily washing and cleaning of the sensitive facial skin is the key for a healthy and radiant complexion. Because makeup, sweat, sebum and other dirt particles clog the pores and can lead to unwanted pimples and inflammation. We should take care to clean the face thoroughly both in the morning and especially in the evening. Even if it sometimes seems tempting to just drop into bed after a long, tiring day or a night out – your skin will take revenge the next day – because regeneration processes run at full speed at night in particular. It is better supplied with blood and detoxified, has up to eight times higher cell division than during the day and repairs cell damage. You can optimally support your skin in this process by not only cleaning your face in the evening, but also supplying it with important and high-quality nutrients from your skin care, which can be absorbed much better through the cleansed, clean skin. In the morning, after getting up, a gentle cleansing is also recommended,
AND WHAT ABOUT THE WATER?
In winter, when it is cold outside, it is of course extremely attractive to wash your face with hot water. Conversely, we tend to have very cold water in midsummer, as it has a refreshing and revitalizing effect. However, neither is ideal for sensitive facial skin. Water that is too warm removes moisture from the skin and dries it out, while water that is too cold irritates the capillaries and can lead to skin damage. We therefore recommend lukewarm water every time you cleanse your face.
But is a quick catlick really enough, just with water? Clearly no – because water only does not remove any greasy or oily substances such as makeup, cream leftovers or sebum. This requires gentle, fat-soluble ingredients that can be found in good, high-quality cleaning products without damaging the natural skin barrier.
BUT HOW DOES THE IDEAL, PORE-DEEP CLEANING WORK?
It can be so easy, because you only need two good, multifunctional and rich in nutrients products (i.e. the Chiaro Zurich Precious products) that cleanse gently but effectively without negatively affecting the protective barrier of the skin and leaving the skin dust-dry.
First of all, your skin should be cleaned of all dirt that has accumulated on the surface of the skin during the day. The gentle but highly effective and moisturizing Precious Cleansing Milk from Chiaro Zurich is particularly suitable for this. Warm up a few drops between your fingertips and massage onto dry skin. Then wash off with lukewarm water. Thanks to the highly potent active ingredient complex (mineralized Swiss glacier water, alpine rose extract, niacinamide), this cleansing milk leaves the skin feeling silky smooth and protects the skin from environmental influences.
All remaining impurities can now be gently removed with the Precious Micellar Water. It attracts small dirt particles magnetically and, thanks to the cornflower extract, has an additional anti-inflammatory effect. A few drops on a cotton pad are sufficient for this, which is then gently wiped over the face.
A time-saving and multifunctional cleaning routine that not only removes dirt particles, sebum and makeup from the skin, but also incredibly nourishes and protects your own skin barrier. This morning and evening routine can be easily integrated into any stressful day.
The skin is now ideally prepared to absorb additional highly potent nutrients. (e.g. from the Precious Hydrating Serum & the Precious Facial Cream)
OUR TIP FOR «FOAMING»
A lot of foam means a lot of chemistry. Fact. Because in foaming products, chemical foaming agents and tensides, among other things, are hidden, which dry out and irritate the skin. Therefore – stay away from «power foamers»!
